ATLANTA GREEK FESTIVAL
The Annual Atlanta Greek Festival brings the sounds, tastes and traditions of Greece to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral during one of the largest festivals of the season. There will be plenty of authentic Greek music, dancing, art and lots of great Greek food. Be prepared for large crowds.
ATLANTA PRIDE FESTIVAL
Atlanta Pride Festival, the largest pride festival in the Southeast, returns to Piedmont Park each October. Celebrate diversity and community during this two-day extravaganza that includes live entertainment, cultural exhibits, the famed Pride parade and the Pride Marketplace featuring more than 200 vendor booths, as well as tons of restaurant and bar promotions.
TASTE OF ATLANTA
Taste of Atlanta celebrates food with a three-day festival featuring the culinary talents of Atlanta's 80+ best restaurants. Taste and savor Atlanta to your palate's content with delicious creations from local and national celebrity chefs. You'll learn tips and tricks of the trade at cooking demonstrations, while street performers dazzle onlookers. Live music, kids' interactive activities, vendors and more line 10 city blocks at Tech Square in Midtown.
CHASTAIN PARK ARTS FESTIVAL
This event is an art festival designed by artists. More than 150 artists from around the country will display their art at Chastain Park. Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area and local food and beverage concessions including the gourmet food trucks. Local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere. Admission is free, and proceeds from the festival are donated to charity.
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is one of the country's most exciting college bowl games, featuring top teams from the Southeastern Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference. The match ups for the Chick-fil-A Bowl games create an unforgettable energy in the Georgia Dome, and beginning in 2014 is part of the College Football Playoff.
